The owners were very friendly when I arrived and the apartment was clean with beautiful countryside all around.

− I wish the owners had been more honest about the road closures when I booked. Apparently one of the main roads to the area is now closed for several months and so what should have taken 15-20 mins on the bus ended up taking 3 hours because there were far fewer buses and they were full so not even stopping to pick people up. It was a nightmare, especially as a solo female traveller. When I finally arrived the only shop in the area was closed so I had no dinner, which the owners knew but didn't seem to care. I only stayed one night as I didn't want my entire time in Florence to be used up getting back and forth between the accommodation, and an Uber would have been 90 euros each way. When I told the host it was untenable for me to stay I wasn't offered a refund.

Beautiful property with all the creature comforts you would ever need. The home decor aesthetic was also on point and very tastefully done. The attention to detail was amazing! All appliances in the house (even the windows!) have comprehensive and easy-to-understand instructions on how to use them properly. And above all, you also get the most gracious hosts in Mr. Andrea and his son Cosimo, who are always there to help you out. Also, there’s a small supermarket-cum-bar/cafe where you can buy all your cooking essentials. We hope to stay here whenever we go to Florence next!

− The only minor issue was the low frequency of buses to and from Pian di San Bartolo

Loved the location, easy to reach city centre by bus, clean, spacious. Andrea is a great host!

When we arrived at the Residence, everything was great. We had already 5 days in other places, we washed our laundry first. And we went out but later it was rainy. But kind Host Andrea brought it form outside, and put it inside when we were still on tour in city. We really appreciate. His son speaks English very well so no problem with communication. 1Minute alway there is nice supermarkt. Vegetable and others are very fresh. It is good for cooking. (They speak English also) From Innercity it has a little bit distant-20-30 Minutes-, but we could take a bus until midnight.(00:06am we arrived at home). So connection is not bad. Silent, wide, clean, modern and safe. We recommand you(family or friends) to stay here.
