Just a view from the room

− Acquaseris is 6 kms away from Menaggio on the shore of the lake Como, an unwelcoming dirty and unattractive place, no sidewalks on narrow busy traffic streets, no trees, just barren decaying gray concrete. The lake is fragmentally reachable on foot but again quite unwelcoming and unattractive. There is no beach, just a section of pebbles and rock. Frankly I do not know why one could choose this place for holidays. It was a huge mistake to book here. Upon our arrival we were told by a whatsup message to pick up the keys from the agency located c.100 meters away from the place. Upon arrival the agent told us to read the instructions on whatsup and did not even bother to come to show us the place and immediately said we need to leave before 10 on the day of departure. When we asked for help with the safe no one called back or when the light went off in the bathroom we did not dare to ask for anything and tried to spend as much time out of the place and the village. Forget the car park unless you come on a scooter the drive is impossible to get in without scratching your vehicle, which we found out only when arrived so we had to hunt for parking spaces outside every day. The apartment is very hot (no A/C at all but noisy ventilators mixing dust and polluted air) you have to keep windows open all the time and the air is hot and stale. There is no place to put or hang out clothes apart from the dryer rack over the washing machine or tv cabinet under the tv. The room is unfunctional overloaded with useless stuff and feels like an abbatoir: ugly DYI closet in the corner with electric boiler inside, tiles on the wall behind the tv, large bed in the centre and only tight space to pass between the furniture. The kitchen just fits one person impossible to cook as it gets very hot only from the kettle and toaster no worktops to cut or prepare food.

Prachtig uitzicht! Appartement was goed geoutilleerd. Goed bed. Heel fijn waren ook de strandstoelen en parasol.

− We misten toch de airco bij deze tropische temperaturen.

A környék gyönyörű, ahogy az erkélyről nyíló kilátás is. Az apartman teljesen felszerelt, használható konyha és mosógép.

− Nem a szállásadó hibája, de a tömegközlekedés a környéken egészen kaotikus. A buszok nem tartják a menetrendet, van, hogy egy-egy járat egyszerűen kimarad. A kompok menetrendje szintén áttekinthetetlen, akkor tudod biztosan, hogy jóra szállsz, ha megkérdezed a matrózt, aki felenged a hajóra.

Very nice location, close to a very good restaurant. For a family with one child was perfect!
