Great stay, lovely setting

Spacious and quiet location

Could do with some rugs upstairs to dampen noise. Also need a deep clean of the sofas as they are stained and well worn, maybe provide some blankets for extra comfort. kitchen utensils need updating. Also need to supply tea towels and a dishcloth

Fabulous & wholesome stay on remote farm, would come again!

9.0

Loved our stay, big comfy beds, clean bathrooms & powerful showers, spacious living room and kitchen/dining & outside area perfect for a group. Big table both inside & outside to eat at. Location is lovely, not far from Beverley but on a farm in the middle of nowhere with walking routes in woods etc about. We loved feeding the goats and chickens on the farm the animals are clearly used to people and super friendly, was very wholesome. Delicious scones and jam provided in the house for when we arrived. Gorgeous hot tub! Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely want to come back. Owners were friendly & responsive.

No strong dislikes but more constructive feedback: We had to have our baby sleep in bed with us because the cot provided only had a very hard wooden board which I think is meant to be the mattress, but its not useable, wish we had bought the mattress from our cot to go in it.. We've stayed in places where the kitchens have slightly more amenities, would be useful to have things like foil, oil, cling film, kitchen roll, a scrubber or brush for washing up, bin bags etc. maybe 1 additional frying pan, sharper knives as quite dull & more/bigger bowls / serving dishes / storage boxes & that sort of thing, due to remote location it's very much self-catering and felt a little bit lacking for 4-6 people, but saying that we did make do!
