Upon arrival, we were delighted to find essential items thoughtfully provided, including fresh bread, milk, butter, tea, and coffee. ​The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the secret garden. The view is simply stunning and truly made our trip—we spent the majority of our time relaxing outdoors. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. ​The location could not be better; situated right in the heart of Llangollen just off the bridge, it offers a short, convenient walk to both the canal and local shops. ​Bethan, your property is a absolute credit to you. − ​​​"If I were to offer one small piece of constructive feedback, it would be regarding the garden access. The archway leading down to the secret garden could use a bit of trimming; my partner is six feet tall and had to duck quite low, which made navigating the stairs a little tricky. Additionally, slightly cutting back the surrounding shrubbery would help open up the fantastic view even more. That said, it was still a wonderful spot, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time out there!"

What a gem of a place. Absolutely loved it. The little secret garden was amazing. Apartment spotless nice little touch with bread, milk butter in the fridge. Excellent well equipped kitchen. Location right in the heart of llangollen mins away from shops bars restaurants. Bethan the owner very informative , just loved it defo will be back. Thanks again

Townhouse is a high spec and modern property in a perfect riverside location right in the middle of the town. All kitchen utensils etc provided and a lovely touch providing bread, butter and milk. Bedroom was very comfortable and the ceiling and portable fans were much needed in the summer heatwave

− Stairs in the property are a bit precarious but did not really hinder us but someone with mobility issues would struggle

The property was a beautiful period property that has been modernised in a really sympathetic manner. The location could not be better with a number of great bars and restaurants on the doorstep and views of the river from the bedroom and bathroom.

Excellent location. Parking is situated close by and the parking permit was an advantage. Bethan was easily contacted via phone to answer a few queries we had regarding our visit. Breakfast was not included in the cost of the rental property, however there was a starter 'pack' of bread, butter and milk which was not expected but was much appreciated. Kitchen well stocked with crockery/cookware etc (not used by ourselves on this visit)!

− Stairs were a bit challenging (we are in our 70s)!!! Bedroom is located on the top floor and was extremely hot (this is not a criticism of the property but was due to the heatwave). There is a fan above the bed which helped a little.

Perfect location to explore all that Llangollen has to offer.

Great communications with Bethan. We managed to park for 5 minutes in the parking bays at the start of Bridge Street, (outside the closed Royal Hotel), drop off our bags and pick up the parking permit from the Riverside Suite a few yards away. Parking in the East Street car park (near the museum) was just two minutes walk away from the accommodation. A lot of one-way streets. The garden has a lovely view over the River Dee. Accommodation was very comfortable and the location very central. Easy walking to the Llangollen Heritage station, Llangollen Wharf, shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. There's a fantastic second hand bookshop, 17 Castle Street, above S&G Bistro. An amazing collection.

− The stairs down to the kitchen and garden are very steep but there are hand rails to help. Some of the doorways were low for my 6ft husband. Maybe a "mind your head" sign would be good as a reminder.
