John & Katherine are wonderful hosts with great recommendations. The cabin is private with a nice bush outlook and just the right amount of quirk. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend the weekend in Matakana

Beautiful bush setting, privacy, everything thoughtfully provided & comfortable, very welcoming hosts, wonderful walks and beach only 15min drive away. Also Matakana etc in the other direction.
