the nicest place we have stayed at on the garden route in this price class.
9.0Inge our host was fantastic. the property is very close to the main beach (200-300m max). the apartment was very well equipped - we didn't need anything at all. the access to the garage to keep our beach toys, bicycles and boats was a MASSIVE plus for us. the cleaner that was available on request and paid for separately by us was trustworthy and really kept the place clean.
− this is no fault of Strandhaus though but the street the property is situated in doesn't have enough speedhumps to slow ignorant speedsters down. we were hoping the kids could ride their bikes and explore the area a bit, but we didn't feel comfortable with the majority of cars speeding up and down the road during the day.

10.0The house was very well managed and maintained. The host was responsive to any messages. I use Booking.com for short term accommodation all over the world, and this was, by far, the best place I have stayed in from Booking.com. The host had left suntan creams, after sun, even sanitary pads for emergencies. There was coffee, tea, spices, soap and a well equipped kitchen. The instructions for access on arrival, and how the house worked, local amenities, were well communicated. Thank you to Inga & Wayne for a wonderful and memorable stay in Sedgefield.

10.0The little cottage has a nice little private garden but is also well situated close to the Beach and some Restaurants. Meticulous Detail has been given to provide all that is needed to be able to cook or braai a nice meal in the kitchen...beds are cosy and bathrooms were found nice and clean. Overall a very pleasant experiencd
Relaxing beach stay
9.0The house was lovely and had a little backyard patio to relax or have breakfast while watching the bird life. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure good. The host was accommodating when we needed to add an extra guest at short notice. The extra cost was minimal. The house included everything one could need.
