Siesta Cooler: Only Minutes Walk to Siesta Beach!♡

Location is perfect, just a few feet way from the beach, right in the heart of Venice Village and it has everything that you need in order to enjoy your stay, from beach towels, a small cooler, umbrella and beach chairs, as well as a full kitchen with everything that you‘ll need. The balcony is a great plus due to we were able to sit there at night, have a few extra drinks and enjoy the live music from the restaurant next door. I was a bit worried the buzzing of the street would bother my wife since she has a light sleep but there’s even a white noise machine in the room that worked like a charm.

− Everything was amazing but perhaps some darker curtains would be great due to the sun says good morning too early during the summer.

Luckily it was only a day trip, as the music was quite loud at night

Close proximity to the beach

− Staying in the same building of an operating gift shop that neighbors a late night bar which also hosts live music woulda been a nice addition to property details

The property was very deceiving! Just awful, will never go there again

− Finding the place was not money difficult but shady getting in. We found a bed bug as soon as we entered in the bathroom, called immediately & they were supposed to get back to us & never did. We left & had to get a hotel in Sarasota for the night & scramble to find another place to stay. When I called back the next day the guy at the facility was rude & yelling at me saying he had an exterminator going & it was a palmetto bug which it was NOT! This was the size of an apple seed & when we zoomed in on the picture you could see it was a live bed bug!! I contacted Booking.com right away, sent all the documentation & picture of the bed bug. Then this guy tried to say to Booking.com this was not at his facility. After traveling all day we would’ve never left at midnight & spend more money on another hotel for the night not to mention another uber. I was told when I contacted someone at Booking.com it was cancelled & I would receive a refund. I have never had a problem with Booking.com and would use you again but there was no way we would stay in a place with bed bugs!! And I will right on their site about this whole ordeal. It ruined our whole night what was left of it and the next day calling them & Booking.com about this whole situation, another half day wasted while we were on our mini vacation.

− Noisy and sure this would annoy some guests my friend included I can sleep through most things so was fine

We loved the location, all the little details like kitchenware, the extra sheets, the beach chairs and cooler. We thought those little touches made this condo feel like home. It was very clean, cool and comfortable. It was perfect for what we needed!

− I think maybe the only suggestion might be the wicker headboard - it creaks when you’re turning over in your sleep. But I mean other than that, everything was fabulous and we still slept great! :)
