5.0The location is good, close to the beach and the resort. The Aircon worked well. Breakfast was average
− The room was described as a 1 bedroom apartment. A real 1 bedroom apartment has a living area with a kitchen and a separate bedroom. This was one room 29 sq feet with a fridge and microwave at the back of the room. The bed was in the corner of the room. There was hardly any room to put luggage. There was no desk. The correct name for this hostel is 7 Backpackers not Departamento 7 and we would not have chosen it if we had known it was a backpackers place. Booking.com need to correct the description of the room and the property.
Clean room with AC
8.0Nice room with AC. Very clean. Good hot shower. Breakfast was included (fried eggs on toast). Host very helpful. Can assist with booking tours and boats to Pavona/Moin etc.
− There is seating directly outside the bedroom door. So if people are sitting out there at night you can hear them. That being said everything closes early in Tortugero so not a problem at night.
