Peaceful oasis in Grindlewald

This was a great apartment for our family of 4 for a week in Grindlewald. We liked the quiet location out of the town centre with amazing views of the north face of the eiger. We cooked every night and found the kitchen equipment to be more than adequate. We enjoyed making use Of the raclette! The bus service runs throughout the day and into the early evening and gets you to the train station in 10-15 mins. Because we arrived in Grindlewald on a late train and the busses had stopped running we walked to the apartment - no mean feat with our suitcases but we made it in about 20 mins!! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the ever changing scenery around us. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Quiet location, up on the hill out of the town, with fabulous view of the mountains. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Lovely balcony with sofas to relax and dining table and chairs for outside dining. The Coop supermarket is at the bottom of the hill and is well stocked. Just need to time it right for the bus back up the hill.

− Nothing, the property was wonderful. The only drawback of being out of town was the steep walk back up the hill, which takes about 10 minutes to walk down but longer to go up, especially as we were out all day hiking and a few times were not back in time for the last bus and had food shopping to carry.

Very well equiped kitchen, clean, in a quiet area, away from the busy centre of town. Free, on-site parking. Lovely balcony and stunning views

− Decor, including bathroom are dated, but it wasn’t a problem as we had everything we needed.
