10.0Very friendly host and very cozy and great stay. There were a lot of extras (e.g. heated blankets) which were very appreciated! There was never a moment we realised we were missing something. Will definitely come again!

Pretty little red door cottage
10.0The location was beautiful in a quiet neighbourhood, about a 5 min drive out of the Wilderness village towards Sedgefield. Our host were very friendly and helpful, but respectful of our privacy. The cottage was well appointment to ensure a comfortable stay, a home away from home. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. The cottage was serviced once during our 7 night stay which was unexpected, but appreciated. Yummy treats and basic spices, teas, plunger coffee available. Small but full size fridge freezer (not bar size) Gorgeous views out over the valley. Beach, petrol station with a convenience store and barista coffee within walking distance. Laundry available onsite to do our own washing, included the use of laundry liquid. Two 5 litre water bottles available and filled daily or upon request.
− We were happy with everything. Our stay was beautiful, thank you. Be aware that the driveway is extremely steep and winding, but there is off-road and secure parking at the top for cottage guests. Personal: I love big, thick, soft and fluffy towels. It’s one of my little luxuries when I stay away from home. The towels did their job, but were not luxury. However this may not bother others, so a personal preference.

Red Door Cottage is not affected by the current Load-shedding ( rolling blackout) situation in our Country. We are fully Off Grid and use solar panels and batteries to supply our own power giving you, our guest peace of mind and comfort during your stay with us.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
