1.0Nothing as we arrived at the property to be told after booking over a year and half ago that it was double booked and the owners were no help said it was not there problem it was booking .com
− No help what so ever left stranded and missed our event due to "double booking " when I was emailed day before by adnan asking what time we would arrive
Poor we left straight away
1.0Nothing it was dirty fag burn on bedding sticky floors we did not say there
− Dirty floors beds and bathroom, the house smelt
Rather have stayed in a travelodge.
2.0The only thing i can genuinely say was good about this stay was that the bed was comfy enough to sleep on and didnt have bedbugs. That is it.
− Parking was out the front of the property but the keys were at the back which involved walking all the way round as it was a mid terrace property and walking up an alleyway to get to the back entrance. The fence could have fallen over with a gust of wind. The keys to open the front door were inside the property. It is definitely not good for anyone with mobility issues - there is a 1 foot drop from the front door onto the street where the car was parked. The sofas were extremely low and uncomfortable and difficult to get out of. The house was a shabby council house poorly maintained. There were big gaps of exposed external wall where the internal wall/plasterboard didnt reach the ceiling. Bolts on the outside of bedroom doors (felt like a prisoners room if im honest). The kettle had brown scum on the inside of it so needed washed before i could use it (along with all utensils as they had old bits of food on them). The bathroom had a poorly done lino job on the floor with random higher bits of floor and gaps around the toilet cistern to the wall. The fan in the bathroom had about 10 years worth of dust attached to it. There was no blinds or heavy curtains to block the light in the bedroom so it was bright by 4am so had a poor sleep both nights. There was some kind of indian music being played loudly by a neighbour and loud barking dogs. There was a terrible smell coming up from the drain in the bathroom sink. The entire house was boiling, they could really do with putting a couple fans in for people staying. There was only 1 small mirror in 1 bedroom, and 1 mirror above the toilet. Honestly, i would never recommend anyone stay here and i think the owner really needs to do ALOT of maintenance work and decorating to make this work for travellers.
Perfectly good for what we needed and the price that was paid.
