Wir waren total begeistert von der Unterkunft. Manos, der Besitzer, ist ein herzensguter Mensch, der uns sogar einen gefüllten Kühlschrank bei Ankunft überlassen hat. Dazu kommt die Lage direkt am Strand mit eigenem Strandabschnitt und zwei Liegen und Sonnenschirm. Manos hat 7 Katzen, von denen 2 es uns besonders angetan haben. Wir haben uns regelrecht in Leo und Loco verliebt. Die beiden waren sehr oft zum Spielen und Kuscheln bei uns auf der Terrasse. In der näheren Umgebung sind zahlreiche wirklich sehr gute Tavernen. Hier möchten wir vor allem die Tavernen Oasis und Kouros nennen, die einfach überragend waren. Uns hat es sehr gut bei Manos gefallen und wir kommen garantiert wieder.

− Da gibt es nichts. Das einzig störende war der etwas beschwerliche Einstieg ins Meer, da man eine steile Kante ins Wasser steigen musste, die für junge Menschen aber absolut kein Problem darstellt. Wir sind leider nicht mehr ganz so sportlich, daher hatten wir etwas Schwierigkeiten.

Perfect seaside stay – highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at this apartment. The location couldn’t be better – just steps from the sea, with a beautiful view and the soothing sound of the waves. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and instantly felt like home. The bed was very comfortable, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches from the host that made my stay even more enjoyable. The host was warm, welcoming, and always ready with helpful local tips. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable seaside getaway.

Little hidden paradise for 2

Manos and Maria are excellent hosts that take great care of their customers, offering advice and help when you are visiting. The house is located right on the beach, so you can experience a morning swim right out of your bed. Local tavernas and all the amenities are 5 mins walk away. The house is perfectly equipped with all you need (comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, kitchen with utensils, some little games and TV with wifi). We especially loved little touches - the fridge was filled with local products, water and drinks; and there was an overview of recommended trips to take in the region! We go to this village for 9 years now and we still had lot of places to discover. There are cats in the location that are loved and taken care of by the owners, and that will make your stay in this house even more welcoming with their beautiful faces and little meows that greet you when you arrive.

The fuset was so generous. Once we arrived, we realized he had staffed the fridge with various goodies... we actually didn't have to go to a local supermarket 🙃 The room was literally 5 minutes walk from the beach, which BTW was with crystal clear water. The place is ideal for someone who is looking for a quiet place right next to the sea.

We loved it! Will definitely stay here next time we are in Crete.

Outstanding place to stay. We spent two weeks in Crete and Manos was an exceptional host. He brought us fresh produce and pastries in the morning, and spent a day with us traveling into the mountains to experience local people, culture and food. He also gave us hints and a map on areas to travel to with the best tavernas to visit. Thanks for everything Manos!!!
