Sanctuary in a Questuonable Neighbourhood
9.0Very spacious - the property is huge (entire place used to be a hostel) so we (4 of us) confined ourselves to the upper floor where the kitchen, laundry room, living rooms, dining room & majority of bedrooms were anyway. Hot showers with good water pressure. 3 bathrooms upstairs (1 more in the kitchen area which is used mainly as a laundry room) Very well equipped (although a dishwasher would have been useful 😬) with lots of crockery etc. Huge washing machine and separate tumble dryer (none of those tiny 2-in-1 tumble dryers you normally get) which quickly took care of our mountain of laundry after our stay at the Rio Serrano. Location was perfect as our glacier and whale-watching cruise operator was close by & the city centre was within walking distance.
− The neighborhood was a little disconcerting - we had a drunkard falling over multiple times just outside the unit & once, we saw an old man peeing outside the unit next to ours. But other than that, there were no safety concerns. In fact, we walked out one night in the wee hours of the morning as we had to be at our glacier & whale-watching cruise operator office at 4 am. There was no one on the streets & all was perfectly fine.

Fantastic stay in Punta Arenas
10.0It’s hard to describe how great of a find this duplex was for our group. Living space and bedrooms were immaculate and had all the amenities we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the duplex after a day on the town. I would highly recommend for groups between 5-15. Loads of space and the owner is so easy to deal with.
Perfect house for a group of people visiting the area.
10.0The door was opened using a code. The owner met us on arrival, gave us the code, and walked us around the property and the house. We were travelling as a group and I was looking for a place where we could all be together. This was perfect.

10.0perfect location for taking the penguin tour hint he morning,a nd the host had a garage who let us keep the car in the garage while we went on the tour. super responsive, but i especially the beautiful backyard in the middle iii the busy downtown punta arenas,. there was tons of spaces to enjoy..
