8.0We were late arriving but the host Filippo was so helpful and understanding after our flight was delayed. You could not get a place more central for the city. We could feel the history as soon as we walked in to the place. On two levels with plenty of room.
− The property had lots of charm and there was not much that we did not like except the parking is a bit of a walk away from the property but this is expected in town like this in Tuscany. All in all very happy with our stay.

− Nothing. Only thing was building work and builders starting at 6am and then 7am despite host trying to intervene
Aussergewöhnliches Ambiente in historischen Mauern, verteilt auf mehrere Ebenen
8.0Ein wunderbares historisches Gebäude, Räume teilweise in einem der berühmten Geschlechtertürme. Entsprechend mühsam ist der Ein - und Auszug mit Gepäck, das ist der Preis für das aussergewöhnliche Ambiente. Die Lage am Domplatz ist nur als hervorragend zu beschreiben, San Giminiano at its best. Gegen Aufpreis gibt es eine private Garage in angenehmer Lage.
− Küche und Bäder sind einfach, was angesichts der historischen Substanz eher erwartbar ist. Mit der hohen Lärmbelastung, mitten in der Nacht wie meist in Italien, durch Müllabfuhr, Strassenreinigung und v.a - völlig unerwartet - Vögel (!) lernt man umzugehen. Die Elektrizität im Hause ist leider ziemlich störanfällig, der Besitzer organisiert allerdings schnelle Abhilfe, auch zu sehr später Stunde.
Perfect location to enjoy San Gimignano.
