Has potential but completely let down by management
2.0Review: We stayed at this property hoping for a relaxing vacation but left feeling disappointed. Positives: • The location is great, with a lively beach nearby and convenient access for exploring the island. • The big TV, reliable WiFi, and spacious fridge were appreciated amenities.
− • The hosts were completely absent. Despite booking for multiple guests, there wasn’t enough bed linen, and the host failed to address this even after being contacted. • Upon arrival, we were shocked to find a large dead cockroach in the baby bed. Throughout our stay, insects were frequently seen in the hallway and kitchen. • Air conditioning is only available in the bedroom, making the rest of the property uncomfortably warm. • The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Dust covered many surfaces, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and the kitchen cabinets were dirty. It was clear that most details were overlooked. • The host’s representative only seemed interested in showing up for checkout and was otherwise unresponsive to our concerns. This property does not live up to the standards shown in the listing. Many families would likely have left immediately, but we stayed because moving out would have been a hassle. For the price charged, the hospitality was far below expectations. This property needs significant improvement before it can be considered a welcoming and comfortable stay. We will not return and do not recommend it.
