Centrale ligging in een charmant en gezellig dorpje. Goede uitvalsbasis om naar andere dorpen te gaan. Sfeervol appartement met goede faciliteiten, fijne bedden!

− Bij aankomst konden we niet in contact komen met de eigenaar. Er stonden 3 nummers vermeld op booking maar geen enkel nummer was te bereiken. Na navragen bij mensen in het gebouw en op straat, bleek de eigenaar beneden te wonen. Zijn zoon was thuis die ons binnen liet. De eigenaar kwam later en bood zijn excuses aan. De telefoonnummers die vermeld waren bleken niet juist. Hopelijk wordt dit aangepast voor nieuwe gasten.

Location is great in wonderful San Quirico d'Orcia. All the convenience of being in the center of the village but tucked inside a quiet courtyard. The apartment itself is spacious, lovely and comfortable. Nice furnishings, comfortable bed and WiFi works well. Good kitchen set up with table and chairs, an island and coffee/tea.

− The host(s) were completely unresponsive to my messages and calls, and not present during my stay. I messaged before arriving (with estimated time) requesting directions on getting the key and some help with parking. I also tried calling several times. I received no response before arriving -- nor did I ever hear anything back while I was there for three nights. I got help from a barber across the street (I had the address but there were several apartments so I didn't know where to go) to get the keys. He made a call and was able to find out who owned the property and he went with me to ring the bell. Luckily someone was there (a niece) who had no information, but she was able to call someone to find out the location of the key. I asked for any other information, but she didn't have any. I finally found a folder with details on the WiFi password and some local resources. With no guidance on the parking, I had a 30 Euro fine the next day, but with the help of a neighbor I figured it out for the rest of the stay. Being completely ignored by the host(s) was strange at best; it really affected the quality of the whole experience and made the arrival very stressful. I'd also suggest a few practical extra touches to this very nice property--like a mirror in the bedroom and a nightlight illuminating the steps from the bedroom. The apartment was very clean, but there was a somewhat sour smell in the bathroom. Opening the window helped somewhat; if I'd had any contact with the host, I would have suggested they might want to check it out.

Definitely one of the best places I've ever stayed. The finishes were all classy and thoughtful. Well equipped kitchen, fantastic location. Host responded to all requests quickly. The pull out couch was so comfortable.

Very nice apartment! Great location! When we come back to Tuscany, we surely make a reservation at Loccanda della Scala!

Location is excellent. Apartments are very comfortable.

− WiFi was not working and some electrical problems encountered. There is no reception, so visitors need to call the host when they are on your way and on arrival. I may have missed these instructions, but it was not clear to me. The host lives on site.
