We had a great stay, we relaxed, had fun and laughed. What could be better than that?

The property was clean, fresh and comfortable. As soon as we walked in we were smiling. It’s a great setup, lovely living room, great kitchen, the main bedroom was huge compared to other places and had an en suite toilet. There’s plenty of seating on the veranda. The location is amazing, it’s peaceful, overlooking huge pond, with fountains on in the day, and so many ducks, geese, moorhens etc. we enjoyed every second of our stay and would recommend booking here every time. Neil the host was wonderful. He is friendly, helpful, great with communication, just a lovely guy. We even spoke to the owner of the property next to us. She was so lovely and friendly, and also thought very highly of Neil. Honestly, you can’t go wrong here, the location, the home & Neil are the best combination.

Lived the Blue Beachcomber

The Blue Beachcomber was superb, very spacious, clean and very well equipped, and we was greeted with with a welcome pack which we thought was a lovely touch. The patio was spacious with plenty of seating overlooking the lake which was very relaxing. Very quiet location yet only a five minute stroll to the shops, pubs and the beach. All easy accessible. For those who like to walk, the coastal path goes for miles, giving direct access to Ingomells. We were contacted via booking.com and the host Neil before arrival, giving is directions and how to locate the Blue Beachcomber and how to access the accomodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definately return to the Blue Beachcomber on this caravan site.

The excellent location is the best thing about the caravan. It was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The veranda was great. A nice little welcome pack was appreciated.

− A bigger and better tv would have been good, but it was ok. Some smallish tumbler size glasses would have been good.

Beautiful and peaceful lakeside retreat with a lovely host

I loved everything! The host Neil was amazing right from first contact. I had some issues with dates and he helped sort it out easily. I’d casually told him that I was coming to celebrate my birthday and lo and behold, there was a happy birthday banner in the lounge area , a birthday card and a chocolate cake waiting for me when I got there! I couldn’t believe it. The caravan was right by the lake and there were comfortable chairs on the patio. Beautiful and peaceful environment and we had everything we needed indoors too. I particularly loved the ensuite toilet in the main bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy. There was even a full size fridge freezer. Even my well travelled son loved the place and wanted to come back. Neil was easily reachable and very helpful. He’d left lots of teabags, coffee and sugar for us, not the two or three sachet you get in other places, but in proper tea caddy just as if you’re at home. Full size gas cooker and a microwave too. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I slept deeply each night. No noise from neighbours. We were close to shops etc and had lovely fish and chips dinner on the first night. I could go on but I’d just say if you’re considering booking this place, book it! It’s beautiful, relaxing, comfortable and the host is very good.

− We had great instruction how to find the caravan but it took a while because it didn’t have a number visible from the road. Not a big deal. Loved everything else. It’s amazing
