This place is amazing, holding many stories. The are staff fantastic, and I think everyone needs an Angelica and her husband in their lives. Food is authentically delicious. Open concerts must be wonderful here. Everywhere is basic, but spotless and the pool is just lovely, and well looked after by Fabio. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble.

Nascosta nel bel mezzo delle campagne di Lucera, è un luogo super accogliente grazie ad Angelica ed al suo staff. Camere e bagni essenziali ma dotate di tutto il necessario. Ottima la possibilità di cenare in struttura, in un dehor fantastico e con un'ottima cucina. Buona la colazione

− Materassi un po' bassini, alloggi un po' spartani, ma era quello che ci aspettavamo. Occhio a informarsi in anticipo della possibilità di utilizzare la piscina.

− The property was neglected and uncared for. Everything was scrappy and unkempt. We could not get in in the first place as no one would answer the gate intercom or our phone calls. The pool was green with algae, and, from the staining around the edge of the pool, had been for a while. We had to wear caps to keep our hair out of the filters, but that would be the least of their problem…the room was dark and dirty and smelly, the bathroom the same, and the shower did not work properly. The mattress was about 5 inches thick and uncomfortable. The sheets and towels smelt disgusting. We opened the window to let some fresh air in, but there was dog faeces outside on the path and that made the smell worse. Also, there was a hole in the fly screen so the room filled up with flies. We arrived for dinner at the outside “restaurant” (a few tables and chairs set up outside) at 8 as we were instructed by the manager, only to be told that the kitchen would not be ready to take orders until 8.45. The whole place felt creepy and weird. So we decided to leave and find a better place to stay. The fact that it has received good reviews from anyone is quite baffling. We are experienced travellers who have stayed in many different types of accommodation all over the world and this was right down there with a couple of terrible places we stayed in third world countries.
