Accueil très chaleureux. Nos hôtes ont su tout au long du séjour transmettre l’émotion qui, un jour, l’a décidé à rester au Vietnam et s’implanter dans le delta du Mékong. Tout est calme et loin du tourisme de masse et du commerce du souvenir pour un séjour authentique . La nourriture est tout juste sublime et le tour en bateau sur le Mékong mémorable !!! à ne surtout pas manquer…!!!!

Me and my family spent four nights and three days at the Ricefield Lodge and we enjoyed them all very much. Martin and Vee are the nicest hosts - they are so friendly and easy to talk to and they do all they can to make your stay the best possible. Martin is very passionate about what he does and we liked that he supports the local community a lot. We went on three trips during our stay and they were all great. We experienced ‘the real Vietnam’ without other turists and we really felt we got to see how vietnamese people live. This is what we will remember the most from our stay at the Ricefield Lodge - the authentic Vietnam experience. I am sure it will stay with us forever. I will recommend everybody to try it.

− Nothing really. One of their cute dogs had puppies the day we arrived and we are sorry that we don’t get to see them grow up.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt!!!

Während unserer zweiten Reise durch Vietnam waren wir auch 3.Nächte bei Martin und Vi. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alles sah genauso aus, wie auf den Bildern. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und uns wurden erste Informationen gegeben! Das Essen am Abend war einfach köstlich. Frisch zubereitet und sehr authentisch! Auch die Fahrt mit Martin und Vi zu den schwimmenden Märkten war ein Erlebnis und jeden Dong wert. Sehr zu empfehlen! Man merkt, dass die Zwei, dass war sie machen, gerne machen! Hervorzuheben ist auch die gute Ausstattung der Lodge. Es gab sowohl ein Klimagerät als auch einen Deckenventilator. Ein Moskitonetz, Miskitospray und Moskitospirallen waren ebenfalls vorhanden. Bezüglich des freien Badezimmers war ich zuerst etwas skeptisch, fand es aber im Nachhinein einfach herrlich unter freiem Himmel zu duschen. Man sollte wissen, dass sich auf der Farm zur Zeit 5.Hunde aufhalten. Auch von ihnen wurde man immer freudig begrüßt und selbst ich, die nicht die größte Hundeliebhaberin ist, hatte vor ihnen keine Angst. Wenn man das authentisch Vietnam ohne viele andere Touristen kennenlernen möchte, jedoch auf einen gewissen europäischen Standard nicht verzichten möchte, ist man in der Ricefield Lodge bestens aufgehoben. Ich würde es immer wieder buchen und kann es zu 100 % weiterempfehlen. Danke für 4. unvergessliche Tage " Irgendwo im Nirgendwo"!!!

Our stay at the resort in the Mekong Delta was one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. The resort was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it the perfect place to relax and experience the charm of the Delta. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, while the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The Mekong Delta tour was equally memorable. Cruising along the narrow canals, visiting local villages, and learning about the daily lives of the people who call the Delta home gave us a genuine appreciation for the region's culture. We especially enjoyed sampling fresh tropical fruits and tasting delicious local cuisine. Our host and guide Martin was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful combination of relaxation and cultural discovery. If you're looking for an authentic Mekong Delta experience with excellent hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and a well-organized tour, I would highly recommend this resort and tour. We left with great memories and would happily return.

Tolle Unterkunft abseits der Touristenhochburgen

Tolle Unterkunft, wenn man abseits der Touristenhochburgen reisen will.Trotz der Tatsache, dass ich der einzige Gast war, haben sich Vi und Martin nicht gescheut, mit mir Touren zu unternehmen. Alles in allem eine freundschaftliche Atmosphäre, auch dank dem gemeinsamen Abendessen. Das gebuchte Zimmer war auch einwandfrei, es war alles da, was man so benötigt. Der Aufenthalt bei den beiden ist absolut empfehlenswert!

The food is good, and the staff are friendly and cheerful.

− There are no shutters in the rooms, so light comes in. He offers a dinner for over $12 for one starter (rice soup) and a main course. He doesn’t force it on us, but there’s nothing else around, so it’s pretty much the same thing… even if it was good, it would cost four times less in town. Same goes for his monopoly on boat tours; he charges over $60 for them. The Google Maps location isn't marked clearly, which made me waste time and pay more than I should have for the taxi. I got yelled at by the owner because I came back at 9 p.m., even though there was never any mention of a “curfew.” Breakfast is at 8 a.m., and that’s non-negotiable. I find it a bit outrageous to impose these schedules on us just because it suits the owner. The photo with the pool doesn’t represent the lodge at all; it’s much less appealing than it looks. The mosquito repellent isn't free, even though there are tons of mosquitoes. All the guests are German, and the owner speaks only German at the table, even though he “insisted” that the other guests speak English. In short, I was happy to come, but even happier to leave.
