Door incomplete beschrijving van situatie mbt de dierenlucht werd niet voldaan aan onze plannen.

− Nergens is er vermeld dat er op 30 m afstand van het appartement een varkensstal is met bijbehorende mestvaalt en penetrante geur. Direct voor de mesthoop (op 5 m afstand) diende de auto geparkeerd te worden. Appartement was zeer gedateerd wat meubels en indeling betreft, keuken klein en donker, maar de badkamer is compleet en goed.

9.0Wir haben den Mattenhof für unseren Urlaub vor allem wegen der gemütlichen Wohnung gebucht. Sie vereint authentisches Bauernhaus-Flaire mit moderner Ausstattung. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und konnten uns viele wirklich gute Tipps für Ausflüge in allen Wetterlagen geben. Viele Touren (zum Beispiel ein Kurztrip nach Straßburg) können mit dem Zug gemacht werden, da der Bahnhof kaum 150 m vom Hof entfernt ist. Trotzdem sind die regelmäßig fahrenden Züge kaum hörbar, da sie recht leise und weit genug weg sind! (Zum Vergleich: Ein plätschernder Bach neben dem Fenster wäre deutlich lauter.) Die Zugfahrten mit der regionalen Verkehrsgesellschaft sind (innerhalb Deutschlands) bereits mit der Gästekarte oder dem Deutschland-Ticket abgedeckt. Auch das faire Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat uns überzeugt. Für Kinder steht zudem eine Grünfläche mit Trampolin und anderen Spielmöglichkeiten zum austoben zur Verfügung. Darum ist der Mattenhof eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit toller Lage, um den Schwarzwald in gemütlichen Ambiente zu entdecken - besonders wenn man Natur und Tiere mag. Vielen Dank nochmal für den schönen Aufenthalt und die liebenswerte Gastfreundschaft!
