Disappointing and unfriendly.
3.0The property had some friendly cats and the view from the communal pool area was amazing.
− The property lacked any sense of tranquility due to offensively loud music coming from two nearby units, despite there being a clear “no music” rule in place. Staff were clearly aware of the noise (they could hear it while checking us in and were apparently staying only one unit away) yet no action was taken. It made our visit very unpleasant. Staff were also exceptionally unfriendly and gave the impression that guests were an inconvenience. They were uninterested in providing information about wine tasting or cycling routes on the property, despite both being advertised amenities. There was also a general lack of attention to detail throughout the unit: the dustbin was damaged, there was insufficient space to hang two towels, no bread knife was provided, the shower drained poorly and did not stay hot, and one of the mugs was chipped. The units are positioned very close together, offering little privacy, and our unit had no real view. It was also very cold, and although a heater was provided, no adaptor was supplied for the two-prong plug, making it unusable with the available three-prong outlets. Overall, the experience was frustrating and did not match what was advertised.
Tranquil Getaway
8.0Loved the setting. Beautiful views and tranquil surroundings, but not too far from town. The cottage has been updated and renovated which was fantastic. It's comfortable and has almost everything needed. Great wifi as well and loved the outside patio area. Note that the farm doesn't offer wine tasting anymore, something we thought was available - but not a big deal. Loved that there were 2 bags of wood left for us as well and a surprise hot tub!
− There could be a few more kitchen items like serving bowls, glasses and boards, but it was fine for us because we didn't cook much. More blinds in the bathroom would help with privacy. But otherwise it was great.

− The shower outflow was a little slow, but not a big issue.
charming old farmhouse - needs some TLC and certainly could do with some new pots and pans and chopp
