A Retirement Village in the Meilen
7.0The apartment was quite roomy and clean. Close to the train station and local shops. The staff were helpful and friendly especially at breakfast!
− The fact that it was a retirement village and we had booked two apartments and were only given one! On arrival we were told they could not give us a second because there was an emergency and they did not have another for us despite the fact that I had informed the MD that there was a change in the number of guests and he confirmed that it was OK! At the least he could have informed us of the cancelling of the second apartment instead of discovering that on our arrival especially on the 30th of December. They were helpful though by trying to find an alternative accommodation however at New Year's eve it would have been a miracle if we found one!
