I was happy for the town but not the sleeping place

The location was good. Close to the sea

− They didn’t clean the sheets after a few days. And the same with the towels we had to ask for new ones. The wifi didn’t work we had zero connection i had to use my 5G all the time while it was stated that there was wifi. Some days we were without water and couldn’t shower and then at some point it was inly cold water. We didn’t have warm water some days.. They changed our room without saying. Normally we had one with a kitchen and they put us in another room. We had to pay everything with cash instead of card. I don’t like that. Personally I wouldn’t come back here

Byli jsme nadšeni z přístupu paní majitelky. Najít uprostřed Kalábrie, v krásném historickém městě hotel, který patří velmi vstřícné Češce, je prostě skvělé.

Location is great the grumpy old owner is horrible!!

There was no breakfast nor was one offered by the owner who only spoke Italian and no English at all. After the first night we went downstairs at 8 AM and the downstairs reception was empty/dark and no sign of breakfast etc. We saw the owner every day and he never offered or mentioned about breakfast even though his website offers breakfast at 3.99 EU per person.

− When we arrived in Pizzo we called this location as we never received any instructions as to how we would get keys. We asked people in the square if they knew where Palazzo Zimatore Residenza D'Epoca was located and no one knew this location. We then called the Palazzo and an Italian women answered the phone but spoke No English. I speak a little Italian, but I had a hard time communicating with her and at first said I did not have a reservation. Finally, she said yes I had a reservation and gave us the address, but I and my daughter could not understand her. After several attempts and walking over a mile in and around the Pizzo square we found the Palazzo and a grumpy old owner met us and again spoke no English and we got our keys. He initially asked us for passport copies of our passports, and we had been in Italy for over a week and at 2 high end hotels and we were never asked for copies of our passports. This morning as we left the Palazzo for an early morning Taxi at 7:15 AM, the grumpy old owner was there (with no breakfast on site) and said we had to pay 22 Euros and I said we paid everything online for our stay and kept insisting we needed to pay the 22 Euros. Again, he could not speak any English and just continued to write 22 Euros on a pad basically threatening us if we did not pay. We paid his 22 euros and left. It is too bad as he has a very good location in Pizzo and the apartment was OK given all we went through but with all of my critical comments above I would never recommend any of my friends to stay at this place! I would suggest you do the following: 1) He needs to have someone that can know and speak English. 2) They should have an email sent to anyone that uses your site to reserve a room that describes in detail where they are located, how they will get their keys and offer a phone # that can not only speak Italian but can also talk to English speaking people. 3) I would like to get a US check for the 22 Euros I had to pay.

Bardzo wyjątkowe miejsce. Najlepsze miejsce w jakim zatrzymywaliśmy się podczas wycieczki objazdowej po Kalabrii. Widok z okna jest cudowny! Personel super pomocny. Jak wrócimy do Pizzo, to tylko tutaj!
