Ok, clean, but very basic. Can walk into town.
6.0The apartment was clean, and it's in a convenient location - a 10 minute walk into Hell-bourg. It was very basic, but it was ok for 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we did not need the heating, as the apartment itself was warm enough, even in June. Le Be-Mahot is situated right in front of the mountain, which makes it very pretty. It's also a 5 minute walk away from Hellbourg Truites, in case you or the kids want to go catch your own fresh fish for dinner. There's also a children’s playground 5 minutes walk in the other direction. The children also enjoyed playing in the garden around the apartment, and it felt safe enough to let them run around.
− The apartment was very basic, and it didn't even have shampoo, or a proper spatula for eggs, or anywhere in 1 of the rooms to hang or unpack clothes. I don't normally complain about mattresses, but I struggled to sleep on the 1st night, because of how soft the mattresses was (I suspect it was the mattress topper.) There was also someone nearby playing loud rave music until about 4am in the morning 😫 But to be fair, that could happen anywhere, it's the drawback of not staying at a quiet resort. It's still probably one of the best places to stay in Hellbourg itself, but I wouldn't say it's good value for money.
