It’s located at one of the prettiest beaches in the area. Stuff was very friendly, rather chaotic and incompetent but friendly.

− The room we were assigned was nothing like you see in the photos. It is located right next to the parking lot. No hammocks no beach flare. No privacy on the tiny terrorist there is , with all sorts of people, walking and driving by . Surrounded by cars , coming and going and lots of weed dealers. Plus an intense smell of weed.

Super Platz an der Karibik . Rest nicht empfehlenswert

- wonderful setting and great beach - Fun beach bar with good food - spacious room and spacious patio area in our ‘Balcon’ room (name).It had a fridge and mini kitchenette with coffee perculator,(but no coffee), hob and pans. - You can’t drink the tap water but they provide water here - Beds and pillows good with nice sheets and towels good - Nice hammock but smelly so unusable - Lovely beach towels - Good sun loungers on beach, no cushions but free of charge - Easy going atmosphere - Room housekeeping only every four days - Bathroom good size and refurbished a bit but shower valve broken so cold shower - Staff good and helpful if we had a problem - Hotel parking good - Restaurant very good and competent. Lovely calamari and tuna tartare - Breakfasts pretty good - I would recommend staying but accommodation very basic - Air conditioned room

− - Our room ‘The Balcon Room’ was basic and characterless. It had the potential to be cute. (pay an art student to paint a nice mural on wall and buy a couple of bright cushions for room! It would look lovely) - Ideally, Need a another shelf for clothes and things - No sidelights, so only one harsh light overhead with fan. You have to get out of bed to turn it off. - Only one plug socket in room, not near bed - Private hammock on our large balcony could have been really nice but smelt v bad - Shower had faulty valves so went from hot to cold and back constantly - Room included breakfast, but they said we can only choose from two specific items. Why? Felt very unwelcoming…All other breakfast menu items were the same or of similar price! we complained about this and they were helpful and said no problem we could choose from the full menu but it gave a bad first impression on the first day.

Un hermoso hotel coloquial caribeño beach front donde la habitación está a 10 mts del mar, puedes oír oleaje desde tu cama. El personal del hotel súper amable (todos costarricenses) y la comida excelente. Camas cómodas y limpieza sin contratiempos.

− Todo me gustó. Nada más tomar en cuenta que la infraestructura es de madera y como tal puedes oír a tus vecinos, sin embargo nada del otro mundo, así funcionan las cosas en puerto viejo.
