Good place to stay for a couple of nights but barking dogs close by were a problem for us
7.0The room looked exactly like the photos on booking.com. The manager was friendly and helpful, providing advice & offering to take us to bank on his motorbike. There were lots of beeeaters (birds) just outside our window, which was lovely to see. Great bathroom with plenty of hot water. 2 big bottles of water were provided in the room. Even after we'd checked out, as we we booked this for 2 nights before the Villa we'd booked close by was available, the manager smiled and waved when they saw us passing. Very good value and a nice big room.
− The beds were really hard (but I think a lot are like this in India, as the Villa we booked after our stay here had the same kind , just not in our master bedroom). Lots of dogs barking throughout the day and the night. We couldn't use the fridge, as it was very smelly when it was switched on, but to be fair we didn't mention this at the property, as we were only staying 2 nights (and I'm sure it would have been resolved if we had mentioned it).

Good spacious budget room with great host
9.0The host - Sibu - was extremely helpful and friendly. He served a good breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, cornflakes and toast. He was also helpful in organising our taxis, and our laundry. The room itself on the top floor, had adequate reasonably comfortable seating inside and outside. It had good air and a fan so was pleasantly cool. The bed was a bit hard. The bathroom had a water heater for the shower. WiFi good.

8.0Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and location was close to the beach, wifi very good. Large rooms and hot water.
− Bottom sheets and pillowcases were fine, however quilt had no cover and appeared not to have been washed for some time (this seems pretty typical of India though and we were very comfortable in our sleeping liners)

8.0Benns in was decent, we liked the location. Rooms clean. Staff very helpful, Shibu was great with us and would go out hos way to help of we needed anything, always there to help. Would stay here again if was In Madrem area.
− Can sometimes be quite noisy throigh the night with dogs and and other noises. But thays minor and cant be helped by the hotel staff here.
