9.0Ou Skool is a hidden gem and the perfect stop between Cape Town and Kgalagadi. Thanks Muriel for your warm welcome and smooth running of the arrangements.
A treat after a long day's drive
8.0We had a lovely stay at Ou Skool. From the get-go the communication was very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival the staff greeted us warmly and we enjoyed the novelty of staying in an old elementary school. The gardens and lawns around the braai areas are beautiful and it's easy to see that a lot of time and effort is spent in the gardens. My son enjoyed the playground and all the space to explore. At dinner we were treated to Kalahari truffles, !nabas as a side dish. We skipped breakfast, because we had to leave quite early. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you, Muriel and your team!
Would love to stay a little longer
10.0Loved the king size bed , winter bedding, nice hot shower, small but efficient kitchen including a microwave, cutlery and crockery, coffee, rusks. A seperate pantry where you can buy extra goodies. Seating outside in the garden, a vineyard outside your window.

1.0− We never got in the gate - arrived at 4pm gate was locked sign said pls phone - this went onto answer phone who said send a SMS - we phoned twice and sent 3 SMS and waited 30 minutes. the gate remained closed and no one was there. we hooted and physically tried to Open the gate but nothing worked no one was around and property looked closed so we had to look for other accommodation- after a long drive this was not what we expected from a booking.com property . we eventually spoke to the manager on the phone who was extremely rude, said he did open the gate and that we would not get a refund. It is unacceptable to wait more than 30 minutes with no contact for accommodation that we had confirmed locked outside a property that appeared closed. The manager had no customer service did not apologize and said it was our fault I told him the property was a disgrace to booking.com and he took exception and said I had personally insulted him - so I had a very bad experience with this property
