Quiet accommodation with fantastic views.
9.0Stunning view of Sigiriya Rock from the communal area on the top floor. Very much a family run hotel and staff are very welcoming. Breakfast was great and really filling. They also offer an evening meal, which is good value at $10 but not upto same quality as the breakfast. Rooms are spacious, bed super-comfortable. About 30 mins walk to downtown Sigiriya but only a few minutes in a tuk tuk. Has the advantage of having a washing machine where for around £1,20 to can do a full load of washing in 30 min.
− Bees congregate near the outdoor lights at night and it’s important you don’t swipe at them as they can be vicious if provoked.
Sehr schönes Hotel zu günstigem Preis
10.0Dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Personal ist sehr liebevoll und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Mir wurde eine Safari, TukTuk zum Pidurangala Temple und Taxifahrt zum nächsten Hotel organisiert. Wenn man die Ortschaft erkunden möchte kann man sich Fahrräder ausleihen. Die Speisekarte im Restaurant war nicht sehr groß, der Burger aber dafür sehr lecker. Ich wäre gern noch länger geblieben.
− Auch wenn das Hotelrestaurant eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Löwenfelsen bietet, nach Sonnenuntergang schwirrten viele Bienen an den Deckenlichtern im Restaurant herum, die allerdings harmlos schienen.
