The best of Rothesey, we felt at home
10.0The property suited me and family member to stay whilst visiting family. The property was clean and tidy on arrival. The Lady who met us was informative and very nice to deal with. The bed was too soft for me. The bed linens, towels and tea towels were all supplied. The tea towels could be newer and fluffier but that is just my point of view. The tables and chairs outside for visitors use is comfortable and clean. The view is spectacular and watching the ferries arriving and departing means if the TV is bad just look out the window. Great view of the Waverley as it arrives and departs.
− The bed was too soft for me. The shower head kept coming off the holder. The blind cords are just a little too high and awkward to operate. There is no hob or oven in the property but we knew that and it was not a problem for us as we were visit family. Kettle and toaster and microwave was all we needed

9.0As always we had a good stay at the Commodore Hotel. It is well located close to the ferry and the family are always on hand should you need them.

8.0It was lovely, spacious and clean. Great view. Welcome pack was much appreciated. Close to shops and amenities. Host, Andrea, was kind and helpful.
− The shower head was a bit wobbly but I worked around that so it wasn’t a problem. Andrea explained the hot water could take 2-3 minutes to heat up which isn’t unusual, but it was lovely and warm and temperature was easily adjustable.

Two days in Rothesay
7.0The rooms, were spotlessly clean, the location was good, walking distance from the centre.The view was lovely.
− There were a few issues with the shower room. Nowhere to lay anything in the shower ie shampoo or sponge. The sliding door came off the runners each time it was used. The towel rail fell down,at one end. The door squeaked which meant visiting the loo during the night noisy as it needed to be closed to pass it from the far side of the bed.
