De host Gorgio spreekt vrij goed Engels, zijn vrouw echter heel beperkt, dus we waren blij toen hij erbij kwam. De kamer en badkamer zijn basic, maar prijs-kwaliteit zeker OK. Er is een terras bij de kamer en het ontbijt werd daar geserveerd, met een prachtig uitzicht op Signaghi want de woning ligt op een heuvel, zo'n kwartier stappen verwijderd van het centrum. Het ontbijt was lekker en copieus. De host was bereid (weliswaar tegen betaling) om als taxi dienst te doen naar het Bodbeklooster en ook om ons naar de marshrutka te brengen in het dorp.

− Zoals op zovele locatie in Georgië wordt het ontbijt ook hier heel laat (9.30) geserveerd, maar toen we onze plannen uit de doeken deden en al om 9.30 wilden vertrekken naar het klooster, waren ze bereid om dit vroeger te serveren. Het ontbijt was zoals gezegd wel lekker en véél!

Lovely place overall There was a balcony in front of the room. The host was welcoming and friendly. Great breakfast. Great view. We loved it

The best part of this accommodation was the beautiful view from the balcony. The scenery was truly wonderful. The host, George, welcomed us warmly and kindly offered us homemade wine. He also recommended Numisi Wine Cellar, and we had a great experience there. The breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay. Fresh bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, and other simple local foods were prepared with care, and we really enjoyed it.

− However, I would like to share an important point for future guests. Please be careful with transportation arrangements offered by the host. We were asked to choose between Numisi, Xareba, and Kinzmarauli wine cellars. Before the visit, George told us that the transportation would be free. However, after we returned from the wine cellar, he unexpectedly requested 200 GEL as a driver fee. Since this cost was not clearly communicated beforehand, it was a very disappointing experience. He also offered to take us to Tbilisi for another 200 GEL. I strongly recommend confirming all transportation prices and conditions in advance to avoid any misunderstandings. I am leaving this review because I hope future guests can enjoy their stay with clear information and avoid unexpected situations. Regarding the accommodation itself, please note that the location is about a 15-minute walk from the town, but the road includes a steep uphill section. Guests traveling with heavy luggage should keep this in mind. The room amenities were quite limited. Apart from a partially used shampoo, there were no additional toiletries provided. Unfortunately, the bedding and towels did not feel clean, and the condition of the bed was disappointing. Overall, the beautiful view, homemade wine, and breakfast were positive aspects of the stay. However, the unexpected transportation charges and room conditions affected our overall experience.
