10.0As soon as we entered the house we had a very good feeling ,the accommodation was very homely and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. It's a very old house so a bit quirky the room was large and spacious with a very comfy bed and sofa. Lovely grounds to walk around and plenty of areas to sit and relax in their lovely garden. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely book again if we were in the area again.

10.0Beautiful quaint property with spacious rooms and stunning scenery! Idyllic with lovely dogs and cats to welcome you to your stay. Breakfast was delicious and generous and we did not leave hungry. Adrian and Douglas were very accommodating and friendly people. We had a great time and only wished we could have stayed longer.

Idyllic and Restful
10.0I stayed at Splatthayes whilst in the area for work. Ordinarily I play it safe and go with a chain hotel on these sort of visits, but I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone on this occasion and went with this B&B. The hosts (Doug and Adrian) were very welcoming and friendly, but also respectful of our privacy. The house is beautiful and full of character, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We slept soundly and had a delicious, satisfying breakfast each morning. I would fully recommend Splatthayes.
