Comfortable and beautiful rest stop - Stunning design around the Karoo Landscape.
9.0Initially when I booked it was confirmed and then messaged a little while later to say they were overbooked, but had tent rooms available which were cheaper. On our way to venue, I was messaged again to say rooms had come available and were better due to the heat. Whilst travelling, a dinner menu was sent and I could choose prior to arrival. Point is, the venue keep me informed which was excellent customer service. It is a beautiful getaway. Gorgeous Afrikaner decor, deep verandas, with comfortable seating everywhere. Beds were large and comfortable with aircon, which is a must with the Karoo heat. Pest repellant was provided in each room which is also a must as the mosquitos were out in force. Lovely pools were scattered on the property - gorgeous views of the Karoo skyline - seating offered in the bush to view the beautiful night sky. The small touches were appreciated. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
