Beautiful house, delicious breakfast but could be even better
8.0I liked the location, the sea view (from some of the rooms) and the beautifully decorated house. I enjoyed the delicious scones offered upon arrival (between 4 and 6pm) and the fantastic breakfast (although it is debited from your card as soon as you order it, even if weeks in advance). Beds are comfortable and it is nice to be able to park inside the property which is full of charming details.
− Booking doesn't mention that if you check-in after 8 pm, you have to pay a penalty. Breakfast is served from 9 to 10 am only, which is a bit late if you want to visit the islands. Apparently, you may order it earlier but we were not told about this possibility when we checked in. More flexibility would make Ardtorna even more welcoming. We paid for an upgrade to a beautiful suite overlooking the lake (see photos) with a private terrace. The view was really stunning but the two large (fixed) windows were hit by the sun all afternoon and, without air conditioning, the only way to lower the temperature (even with all curtains drawn) was to leave the door to the terrace open (no mosquito net on that door, unfortunately, and no other window in that room). All in all, it was rather uncomfortable during those two very hot days. I assume it is lovely in winter but the suite, although absolutely clean, beautiful and comfortable, was not the best choice - for us- on those warm days. With climate change, management should contemplate air conditioning + mosquito nets.

10.0Pokój bardzo ładny.Szafy i półki pomieściły by wszystkie rzeczy rodziny 4osobowej.Ladnie i estetycznie ozdobiony pokój na prawdę pierwsza klasa . Łazienka przestronna i duża.Lozko dość wygodne podgrzewane
− Bardzo małe jedno okno..Ciśnienie w prysznicu średnie..A po wieczornym spacerze kiedy weszliśmy chodziły czarne robaki.Maz dwa zabił .Pościel była wilgotna i ręczniki też .Może w innych pokojach gdzie są większe okna i drzwi balkonowe jest lepszy przewiew powietrza .

10.0Alles, van het uitzicht tot aan de heerlijke bedden tot aan de super lekkere shampoo etc, alles was geweldig!
