Good quality accommodation near to Calimanesti station
8.0Casa Alexa is in a very convenient location (not quite where its shown on the map), about five minutes walk from Calimanesti station, its in a quiet suburban neighbourhood, the property is spacious, and clearly used for banquets or functions for large groups, although we were the only people staying that night. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and we had a sound night's sleep.
− One minor gripe, we booked on the day as our train was due to leave Sibiu station, and I'd advise anyone doing similar to phone the property and ensure they're expecting you. In consequence the room was cold when we arrived, although it warmed up very quickly

7.0Clean bedsheets and towels, good location, smooth communication with the owners
− No toilet paper in the shared bathroom, only someone put some napkins that were finished the same night. No soap was coming out of the soap container. There was dust on the bed heading, no batteries in the TV remote control. We booked 2 rooms one 1 with a private bathroom, another one with shared, but we ended up getting 2 rooms with a shared bathroom only.
Great accommodation near Calamanesti station
9.0Very well presented establishment, with a large seating area, and kitchen which would be ideal for groups. As a solo traveller, the location (five minutes walk from Calamanesti station) had been the reason for selecting this establishment. This is a picturesque area, and indeed the scenery locally is amazing. The room was clean, I was able to get the temperature cool very quickly (it was very warm during my stay), and have the all important shower. All in all, a great establishment to stay at.
− Two minor gripes, the first being the door of the room having glass panels, meaning the room wasn't that dark overnight, Secondly, the check-in was a bit challenging, with me phoning the owner who came within five minutes to check me in. This was a last minute booking made from the train as it left Sibiu earlier that evening, so I'm sure with more warning, check in would have been easier.
