A bit overpriced, but overall it was a good place to stay for a short while and the host was very friendly and accommoda

Pleasant stay
7.0Food was delicious, hot bath a bonus and host gave us a lift into town the morning we left. Rooms were comfortable and warm. Location was quiet and tranquil.

10.0This place is a hidden gem. We felt so lucky to have stumbled on it. I don’t remember the other reviews talking about the exceptional food. We were served such a feast at dinner, including sukiyaki and a delicious grilled fish. When I asked what type of fish we were eating, the owner pointed out the window. When I looked at where he was pointing, I realized we were eating fresh fish from a pond just outside the window. Please note that the owner is also a dog breeder so there are many dogs on the property. The dogs are not roaming free so you won’t see them, but you will hear barking. The inn is simple, but very comfortable. The owners are very kind

8.0Stunning location with mountain views from our room. Very comfortable stay with attentive and friendly host. Breakfast was amazing and included the freshest of fish from their tank. Our host provided interesting history and information about the local waterfall, which is worth the short walk to visit. As with all Japanese Minshuku's we have visited this one was also spotlessly clean with lovely bath facilities Definitely recommend.
− Wasn't I didn't like just a recommendation to bring a sleep mask if you require complete darkness to sleep as the stair lights remain on and can illuminate the room due to door glass. The lights are needed as bathroom is downstairs and going to the bathroom in the dark isn't recommended

8.0Ideal place outside Owase, you have a nice view and easy access to the river where you can have a nice swim. I strongly recommend to book breakfast and supper! They where super good
