10.0Juillet 2026. Endroit magnifique au calme. A conseiller absolument. Gentillesse et accueil parfait de notre hôte qui nous a donné des bons plans pour des activités dans la région. Propreté, très bon matelas et chambre avec vue magnifique sur les collines de vignobles. Petit déjeuner excellent avec beaucoup de produits faits maison.
Exceptional all around
10.0Margarida is an exceptional innkeeper and host! She goes above and beyond to make her guests happy starting with an impressive spread of homemade baked goods every day , meats and cheeses, fruits , etc . Her daily Pavlova was an extravagance ! The accommodations are equally impressive offering beautifully appointments and is very well cared for . The views and setting are extremely serene and therapeutic . Margarida was instrumental in suggestions for transportation and dining and was spot on with all that she offered. She also connected me with a masseuse who provided the most incredible sos like experience … definitely will go back for the royal treatment she offers 🫶🏼

10.0Charming, well-decorated, amazing location, a big pool with stunning view and a very good breakfast. Everything was above our expectations. On the top of that, Margarida is a lovely host. Always ready to help! I would recommend doing the audio-guided tour in the property with wine tasting.

Casa do Romezal is one of the most magical places on earth!
10.0We feel so blessed to have stumbled upon this little piece of heaven in the Douro Valley. The room was perfect, the grounds looked straight out of a magazine, and the pool overlooked the entire valley in the most breathtaking way — but the true magic was in the hospitality of Margarida and the wine tasting experience with Luís. This is, without a doubt, the most memorable place I have ever stayed. Breakfasts were divine — prepared by Margarida herself, they felt like being a true guest in her home. We felt genuinely honored to get a glimpse of her life and a family legacy spanning 34 generations in this valley. We will never stop talking about Casa do Romezal, and we already dream of returning someday
