8.0Venice…wonderful location….very old building with first floor apartment accommodating 3 separate rooms with en-suites, old-world charm…and the associated limitations…… lovely landlord, you must remember you are in unique Venice, you must accept her terms. We loved the place- foibles and all- well worth the experience and the memories. If you can afford it, stay here and be absorbed by this unique place.....both Hidden Gem and Venice.

This place is -1 on the scale of 1-10. Couldn't check in abandoned place! No answers @ door or phone

− After looking for the place for over 2.5 hours, I couldn't get into the room, the keys didn't fit the door! more than 40 steps to climb up and down in dark staircase. The light over the staircase automatically shuts off in about 30 seconds, leaving you in total darkness!! And danger of falling and breaking a leg or your head! The place is impossible to find. No signage on the outside entry door. The address is unreadable on the sooth covered brick wall. No one in the hotel answers the phone calls or the door bell. I must have called 10 times!! I had to ask a gondolier to help me. He sent people to the neighborhood to ask around in the neighborhood for the owner or manager of this "hidden Gem" crap. Horrible experience! Bookinng.com should NOT associate with "Hidden Gem", which I call " Hidden Crap". A. Cedar

10.0The location was amazing, next to Saint Marc and that made our trip even better!Annalise was very helpful with everything we asked. They clean every day and changed our towels.Also the check out is 10:30 but they offer you a place to keep the luggage in order to make the most of the last day of your visit!

9.0Annalisa is amazing, attentive and careful. The location is superb and hard to beat The kitchen was really useful for the stay. Despite being in the center with crowds, the soundisolation of windows is perfect - with the closed windows its really quite
− As I prefer to sleep with open windows, the central location was a bit of a problem, as the noise starts at around 6 am - but again, at that time I closed the windows and the problem was solved
