Passione e accoglienza

10.0La location è incantevole ed i proprietari molto accoglienti ed accudenti

Wonderful 2 week stay
10.0Where do I start with our stay. First off, Rino and Pina are saints. Our holiday started off with our pre-booked transfers being cancelled because "we took to long to get through passport control" with new entry exit system in place. I messaged through Booking.com because I'd seen they offered transfers and asked if there was any chance of them being able to fetch us. Rino answered very quickly to say they could. We'd found a bus which took us from Naples airport and dropped us next to Pompeii archaeological park and sent our WhatsApp location so we could find each other, which we did and got to the Villa safely. When we arrived they offered us cold water in the shade and talked us through all the Villa had to offer from transfers, day trips, evening BBQs and the rules. Having Google translate was very helpful so between my extremely basic Italian and their English we knew what was available and expected. We booked the Pompeii room which is on the ground floor, has an enormous king sized bed, two single beds and air-conditioning. The room is large with high ceilings and very spotless. The ensuite bathroom has a shower and there's a kitchenette with fridge, freezer, oven, stove, washing machine and coffee machine. All the rooms open onto the courtyard where you have a table and chairs to sit at for your meals overlooking the swimming pool. A lot of love has gone into creating this tranquil little oasis and was the best feeling to come back to after long, extremely hot days out. There are several small shops within 10 minutes walk, though Italy isn't known for it's accessibility, if you have walking difficulties or are in a wheelchair, there are very few, if any, dropped curbs and sometimes pavements are entirely missing so you have to walk in the road as close to the edges as you can. It's manageable but you have to be vigilant and remember to look left first because that's where the cars are coming from.
