Kumbulgama the best little village in Sri Lanka and in Sunshine JP can’t beat it

The guesthouse is located in kumbulgama next to the train station and kumbulgama junction so all busses annd shops are convenient nearby. Room had a proper king size spring mattress bed with good linens and ac, hot water, full access to functional kitchen with fridge, gas stove, kettle and utensils. Very peaceful place in an authentic Sri Lankan village. You might find like myself your only tourist in the village and if you are like me I loved being there. I’ll be back for sure 🥰

Bona ubicacio; 10 minuts caminant de jungle beach i coconut beach, tot molt net, habitació gran amb aire acondicionat, armaris i lavabo privat. A mes disposes d’una petita cuina i els propietaris son super simpatics, t’ajudaran en tot el que puguin.

I had a lovely stay here. The structure is cute, with a beautiful balcony surrounded by greenery. It feels peaceful and relaxing. The owner was sweet, kind and always available to help with anything i needed.

I stayed in the room with the balcony view for 9 days and I was so glad I did! I would recommend this place to anyone. The place is beautiful, comfortable in every way, has all the amenities you need, good bikes to rent for an amazing price, and most of all Kethuki and his family made my stay in Weligama 100% easy and smooth. I didn’t have to worry about a thing; there would always be help and info readily available. On top of that, the place is located on a quiet little street just behind the main road, so there’s not a lot of noise from traffic, while you’re still close to everything. A huge plus of the location is the vicinity to the most beautiful, clean, small beach I have come across in Weligama: Ketature beach. Stay here and you will have everything you need! Really a hidden gem with a great atmosphere. No complaints, just lots of gratitude. Hope to be back one day!

great guesthouse! I got a large, beautiful and comfortable room for a ridiculous price. the rooms are all new, clean, pleasant atmosphere and a caring owner. I had a great night's sleep before my flight. warmly recommend!
