Der Laubengang zum Hotel mit Trompetenbaum - ein Traum :-). Die Lage ist super (ich war leider am Patronsfest da, da war die Nähe zum Hauptplatz eher ein Nachteil, weil sehr laut bis spät in die Nacht und ab frühmorgens). Mein Zimmer war riesig, mit dem Gepäck wurde mir geholfen (3. Stock, kein Aufzug), tolle Dachterrasse. Sehr hilfsbereites, freundliches Personal. Mit Kühlschrank :-) Der Whirlpool im Zimmer ist was ganz Besonderes.

− Das Zimmer ließ sich nicht gut verdunkeln. Das Bett ist extrem hart und unbequem. Im TV gab es eine Verzögerung von 2 Sekunden zwischen Bild und Ton, war so nicht nutzbar. Der Frühstücksbereich ist dunkel und zugig und das Frühstück war doch sehr mager. Etwas mehr Ablageflächen im Zimmer wären toll, Platz genug hat es. Eine Anleitung für den Whirlpool wäre auch toll.

Situated along a quiet street less than 5 minute walk to the main square, the hotel has a beautiful garden archway entrance, setting the building slightly back from the road. We had a room at the front of the hotel, so this helped dampen the noise of any passing traffic. The noisiest sound we heard were the roosters in the morning. Reception clerk was very friendly, and even gave us a choice of which floor we wanted our room to be on. We didn’t actually look at each room, but most hotels just assign rooms well before check-in. He even offered us free post check-out luggage storage. Both classy touches. The room was very spacious, with a small table and storage unit. Plenty of well-placed outlets to charge devices. Modern bathroom - no problem getting hot water in the shower with reasonable pressure after a few minutes. The bed was very comfortable. TV had good variety of channels. We had a small balcony that afforded a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Breakfast was continental style. We were early birds and the attending lady offered to make us scrambled eggs as well. Really, there is nothing to fault. We were very happy with our choice and would stay again. Given its reasonable price and positive attributes, we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to travellers passing through Urubamba.
