The only good thing about this property is the host. She is delightful and there is the issue. The property is rated highly on booking.com. I wish customers would rate the property not the host.

− The bed had a flat sheet on the mattress. It was too short to tuck in at the bottom or top. Its was just placed on the mattress. We woke up in the middle of the night sleeping on bare mattress. Not a good feeling. The linen was past its use by date 10 years ago. You just cannot feel clean in these circumstances. We paid for breakfast. Now how can that go wrong. Omelette with lots of egg shell in it. They advertise tea. No tea but we had tea bags. They provided cornflakes but there was no milk or yoghurt to put on top. Do Romanians eat dry corn flakes? It was just the worst breakfast ever.

Este o pensiune curata, amenajata foarte frumos, camera spațioasă, mi-a plăcut liniștea din zona, nucul superb din curte care face umbra și răcoare, peisajul văzut de la balconul camerei, amabilitatea gazdelor, atente la toate nevoile noastre, sa nu ne lipsească nimic, in special Dna Ligia, ne-am simțit ca și cand eram in vizita la prieteni de familie, un mic dejun variat, pregătit cu drag de gazda.

− Că a fost scurta șederea noastră, dar as reveni cu drag oricând.

− Avand in vedere ca locatia dispune de restaurant, un meniu variat care sa asigure clientilor posibilitatea de a servi pranzul si/sau cina ar fi indicat.

The hostess, Ligia, is very kind and works very hard to make you feel welcome. She made a takeaway lunch for a hike, gave great recommendations for things to do in Zarnesti, and was really helpful. (Her English is quite good.) The room was comfortable and the terrace has a lovely view of the mountains. You can also request fresh-baked pizzas! There’s free parking and it’s just a short drive to the trailhead for many hikes.

Lovely accommodation, situated in a quiet part of the village but very close to the road into Zarnesti Gorge - the Gorge was the main attraction I came to see. The Pensiunea owner was incredibly helpful with all parts of my stay and went above and beyond in making sure that I was well looked after. This included arranging an evening meal at short notice and providing breakfast the next morning - both very nice meals. The accommodation is in a beautiful setting with views into the hills and mountains, and there are both a first floor outside terrace and a ground floor courtyard where you can sit (if you have the time The owner helped me out with information about nearby attractions and tshe also told me the best sites to do walks from which was also very helpful. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. I could not fault any aspect of my stay here.
