Driving creek Railway is a must do and great value and certainly worth a trip out . Comfortable bed and room set out really nice . Kitchen area outside has everything you need and even a barbecue. A Wonderful Stay – Great Hosts and Beautiful Setting

10.0

From the moment we arrived, Jane and Doug made us feel utterly welcomed. Their warmth and attention to detail set the tone for our stay—Jane even kindly ironed my suit for the wedding the next day, a gesture that truly showed how much they cared. The cottage itself was a handcrafted haven, surrounded by nothing but trees, offering complete privacy and tranquility. Every detail was thoughtfully considered: a fully equipped kitchenette, a luxurious bathroom, and an incredibly cozy bed that made relaxation effortless. The living area was inviting, and the outdoor BBQ space added to the charm. At night, the darkness enveloped the cottage, revealing a breathtaking canvas of stars—the Milky Way shone brighter than we’d ever seen. The provided blankets made stargazing an unforgettable experience, one we’ll cherish forever. If you’re visiting the area, this cottage is an absolute must. It’s more than just a place to stay; it’s a memory in the making. We couldn’t have asked for a better prelude to our friends wedding day. Thank you, Jane and Doug, for such a magical experience!

That we could not spend more time in this amazing cottage !

A very special place to stay, away from the crowds and in the middle of nature.

Staying at Peebles cottage is an unforgettable experience. It’s beautifully maintained in an amazing setting. At night you can sit out on the veranda, in the cosy hoodies provided by Jane, and listen to the Morepork, Kiwis, Tuis and other nightlife as you look at the stars. It’s definitely a place to relax and slow down for a while, and Jane and Doug are great hosts with plenty of suggestions of things to do in the area.

Super accommodation and warm welcome

10.0

We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality from Jane and Doug and the beautiful little house! Especially the little touches that made the stay so special – stargazing in thick jackets, the stocked fridge, the delicious grapes, and your personal attention. We visited the nearby beautiful beaches and enjoyed the stunning surroundings and the wonderful weather. Of all the accommodations over the past 5 weeks, our stay with them was by far the best! We will often think back on it.
