4.0The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were very clean. The room was spacious. The view from the balcony was lovely, but it was a shared balcony with an adjacent room. Fortunately, there wasn't anyone using that room. If there had been, and they were smokers, they would have been blowing smoke right into my bedroom.
− The posting said 24/7 reception. There was never anyone at the reception desk. My husband and I are seniors and had to carry our bags up 2 flights of narrow, twisty stairs. No one offered to help. And the lighting on the stairs and in the corridor was very dim. I had to use the flashlight on my phone in order to open my room. The staff gave me the wrong password for the wifi, then told me to use the open network! The room smelled of disinfectant and various other unpleasant smells. There was also a plush carpet. Who puts a plush carpet in a hotel room?The posting said there was breakfast available for a fee. There was nothing. Not even a coffee. The posting said there was access to a shared kitchen. I couldn't find it and, since there was no one at reception, there was no one to ask. How it is possible that this location received a rating of 9+, I do not know.
