The Most Relaxing Place To Stay In Beautiful Salema

Romantik Villa is the most beautiful place! It is peaceful, tranquil and a place to re charge your batteries. Silvie met us and was super helpful in showing us the ropes. The owner Olivier had been away but we met him on Wednesday. A lovely man who is as relaxing as his villa. His beautiful dog Papaya is a welcome four legged friend, she is so friendly and a huge addition to ones stay. We hope to return next year as a weeks stay was too short. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful villa

My husband and I loved our stay at Romantik Villa. Set in the hills above the small village of Salema, the property is quiet but easily accessible to the town and nearby restaurants and a short daytrip to other towns and activities in the Algarve region. The property is on beautiful grounds with ocean views and is well-cared for with attention to detail. The owner, Olivier, and his staff are friendly and responsive. We stayed in the Praia Santa suite and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Although the sleeping area in this unit is smallish (restless sleepers that we are, we slept soundly on the very comfortable bed) and closet space limited, the large bath was simply luxurious. We had private access to a large patio with outdoor kitchen overlooking the ocean that was amazing. On a very blustery afternoon, we were able to enjoy a glass of vino and the view in this open but protected space. The "welcome" basket was generous and the daily, tasty pastries so fresh, they were still warm! The only thing missing was an extra pod or two of coffee and yogurt which, if we had planned ahead, was just a short walk away to the nearby market!!

Olivier and Patricia are wonderful hosts: professional, efficient, and friendly. They made us welcome and feel at home during our entire stay. Romantik Villa is an absolute gem in Salema - excellent location with a beautiful view, private and intimate setting, great facilities, swimming pool and bbq, and clean well-equipped rooms. Fresh bread deliver every morning makes for great start of each day !

The property was in a lovely location - quiet with lovely views. The rooms were clean and very well appointed. The bread and pastries which were delivered fresh each morning were delicious. Communication before and during our stay was very excellent and Patricia and Olivier were wonderful hosts.
