− Difficult to find on Google maps especially if you can't speak Chinese. Had to ask for towels in the room. Communal area seemed to be closed, WiFi login details written in hard to decipher handwriting rather than typed and very weak signal in the room. Breakfast was at a not so easy for foreigners to locate cafe by the railway station two miles away.
I expected more for the price

− Not good value for money compared with every other place I have stayed in in Taiwan. The place was dark and unattended when I arrived around 5.30pm, the lounge untidy with personal belongings but no-one there. Finally after I phoned, someone appeared who clearly didnt know what to do. In my room there were no towels but the person had disappeared and there was no-one to ask. The shower leaked over the whole bathroom floor. No bedside table. No-one asked what I want for breakfast - I don't eat meat or dairy - and receiving plastic bag to the room with plastic container of hot milky drink and a small meat sandwich was disappointing.
