Great Break from Motels!

Quiet end-of-the-road home in Harrisville. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Richard and Char have thought of pretty much everything their guests might need. Theirs is the best kitchenette we have seen. Large rooms, plenty of light and lights, welcoming decor. Great non-motel night!

− Not a negative, but a detail: the unit is in the basement with 13 steps down.

We enjoyed the quietness and beauty where this property resides. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and had what we needed for our stay. The hosts were extremely kind and it was wonderful to talk with them during our stay. My family enjoyed the pool table as well.

− There was not really anything that we didn’t like. We knew there was not a full kitchen, but had what we needed for the stay between the microwave, fridge, and toaster oven. :)

Great location. Clean. Bathroom was good. Pool table was fun!

− Beds were really old and pretty small. Soap and shampoo in bathroom not great.

Char and Richard were great hosts. It was very close to Snowbasin, which was wonderful. Was like hanging out in a cozy living room.

− Would have been great to have some way to cook (stovetop) and clean dishes.

'BUSINESS' CANCELLED THIS DISABLED FEMALE GULF WAR VETERAN RESERVATION CUZ THEY FREAKED OUT ON ME

Absolutely nothing since the host cancelled my entire stay cuz they FREAKED OUT (the host exact words) that I booked for that time based on that even though I kept up with messages and communication and booked it after they accepted my SERVICE ANIMALS since I'm a 100% DISABLED FEMALE GULF WAR VETERAN and they knew I was and had animals and were fine with that which isn't the issue. They cancelled without talking to me or seeing if we could resolve their FREAKED OUT state in another way while still accommodating my reservation which was booked months before my move to Utah but they didn't. They DID re invite me back and told me that the BOOKED UP status on their establishment was false and they had plenty of reservations left but did cancel on me cuz they were FREAKED OUT.

− DID NOT LIKE BEING BAITED IN AND TREATED AS A HUMAN, LET ALONE A RETIRED FREEDOM FIGHTER, WHICH THESE PEOPLE KNEW AS WELL AND CLAIM THEY LOVE THE MILITARY AND IT'S PEOPLE BUT WERE VERY QUICK TO CANCEL CUZ OF 'THEIR' ISSUES NOT MINE AND WHEN THEY REALIZED I WAS ABLE TO FILE A VALID COMPLAINT, AND POSSIBLE ADA COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM AND THEIR DISCRIMINATION, THEY RETRACTED THEIR CANCELLATION AND TOLD ME THEY WOULD TAKE ME AFTER I HAD TO CONTACT THEM, NOT TO BEG OR ASK TO COME BACK LIKE THEY WANTED, BUT BECAUSE THEY HAD EGG ON THEIR FACE WITH THIS CASE AND THAT IT'S BORDERING ON A LEGAL ISSUE AS WELL. ALL POTENTIAL RENTERS, ESPECIALLY ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO HAS ANY SORT OF DISABILITY-SEEN OR UNSEEN- SHOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AND WHATEVER BUSINESSES THEY ATTEMPT TO RUN CUZ THEY ARE UNSTABLE, OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO EFFECTIVELY RUN A LODGING FACILITY AND ARE TWO FACED IF THEY ACCEPT UR RESERVATION AND U HAVE BEEN HONEST WITH EVERYTHING AND THEN THEY EITHER CANCEL IT BEFORE OR IN THE MIDDLE OF UR STAY WITH THE EXPLANATION OF 'PERSONAL REASONS' THEN WHEN CONFRONTED THEY TELL U THE HONEST TRUTH THAT THEY GOT FREAKED OUT AND DON'T LIKE TALKING TO POTENTIAL GUESTS BEFORE DOING WHAT THEY DO AND JUST DO IT AND DEAL WITH THE PROBLEMS CAUSED LATER ALL DUE TO THEIR ACTS AND NOT THE GUESTS.
