El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado, el personal es super amable y servicial, todo muy limpio. El desayuno esta bien, pero es todos los dias lo mismo. No varían nada. Un poco aburrido.

− Nosotros estábamos en una habitación cuádruple y estas no tienen nada q ver con las fotos. No están tan reformadas. El baño es mas viejo, con cortina la barra estaba oxidada, la primera habitación que nos dieron los colchones eran de muelles muy incomodos, pedimos un cambio y enseguida lo hicieron, son muy amables, la segunda habitación mejor. Pero les falta mano de pintura, más luz y un lavado de cara bastante importante.

Excellent value hotel in good location

Quiet hotel on the edge of the tourist district, large room and good bathroom, views from the veranda. Good breakfast in a pleasant room. 20 minute walk to the city centre ( a bit longer back up the hill!). Close to airport bus stop and local bus. Good restaurants close by.

− No concerns, staff could be hard to find but very helpful when there and check in instructions were fine

It’s a good location not far away from all the main attractions

− It is very dated, sun lounges broken, no sockets next to the bed to charge anything, shower is very old fashioned with a curtain.., breakfast very limited, reception closes at 5 , so no one is at the desk to help you. Not sure what is in-front of a hotel, but looks like another hotel that allows dogs , people make loads of noise if you have a room facing the garden. Also balcony doors don’t lock and there is no safe to keep your belongings. No air-con, and pillows are terrible, l had neck pain every night.. it’s a shame really but l would day avoid this hotel not even a good value for the money.

I had a very good staying in Funchal at Monte Verde! The room was clean and had everything that you’ll need. The breakfast was good and had a lot of varieties of food and the staff was very helpful and nice! Also if you have a car you can park in their parking lot only if they have a place.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce petit hôtel plein de charme. Il ne ressemble pas aux grands complexes hôteliers, ce qui lui donne une ambiance plus conviviale et authentique. L'hôtel dispose d'une piscine, ce qui est très appréciable. En revanche, c'est dommage que deux des transats soient cassés et que les quelques autres disponibles ne soient pas assez nombreux pour tous les clients. Le petit-déjeuner est simple mais suffisant, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour bien commencer la journée. Il est servi de 8 h à 10 h. Le personnel est chaleureux, accueillant et toujours agréable. Enfin, l'hôtel est situé à environ 30 à 40 minutes à pied du vieux Funchal, une distance tout à fait raisonnable pour ceux qui aiment se promener. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix que nous recommandons.
