− The room was according to what we paid for and had the basic amenities expected. However, our overall experience was disappointing due to the noise levels and lack of sound insulation. The room had wooden floors, a closed-off interleading door to the neighbouring room, and very thin walls, which meant that noise from surrounding rooms carried through clearly. On our first night, there was a soccer match on television and there were several people staying on both sides of our room. There was constant noise, shouting, people calling each other from outside, and guests moving in and out of the rooms. I contacted the number provided on Booking.com, as there is no reception desk, and the person who assisted arranged for someone to address the issue. The noise improved afterwards, and I appreciated the response. Unfortunately, similar disturbances continued throughout our four-night stay. Wednesday was quieter but still had some noise. On Thursday night, another soccer match around 22:00 resulted in increased noise levels again. Friday night was the worst, with the noise and commotion making it extremely difficult to rest. After the first complaint was addressed, I chose not to continue reporting the noise because I did not want to create conflict. During the interaction between the caretaker and the guests, I overheard comments that gave the impression that the guests were known to the establishment. While I cannot comment on the nature of that relationship, it made me hesitant to raise further concerns. The staff member who assisted after my first complaint was responsive and appreciated. However, the accommodation needs to look at noise management and guest conduct, as the repeated disturbances had a significant impact on our stay.
