10.0The hosts were a family of hospitable, kind, and humourous people! Rika was so generous and gave us a lift to Ohama beach. We rented snorkels for 400 yen from them as well, which was awesome. The building and rooms seem newly built and the beds are super comfortable and clean, and I love the star cutouts. The balconies have a cute view of forest and town.
− Bring ear plugs in case your roommates are noisy. Restaurants close early in the area (earlier than what Google says), or seem to be reserved, so make sure you plan for that! If you want to travel southwest of the island from the hostel, the bus doesn't really go that far so you might want to rent a car.
