8.0Padma, her family and her staff were always very kind. Hesckuk guesthouse is a family guesthouse, so it's important you have suggestions from local people, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Padma was very kind, responsive even to small requestsand full of attention with me. . I have particularly liked the bed and the pillows, very confortable for me. And the garden with flowers and the dining room, with a good view.
− As I wrote before, the guesthouse is very good (i had a large room, not every room have the same size).the only thing that i suggestion to pay attention and be aware is the position. It's in a nice part of the town, in a quiet road, but of corse is not in downtown and it is on a small hill. For me it was ok as I like walking (consider 20/25min to come back from the market, as your body is not 100% with altitude combined with the small hall). You could also arrange a taxi to come and go, but it's a small limitation if you prefer a place where to stay closer to downtown and main services and where you can enter and exit many times during the day.

10.0The guest house is charming. Around 20-25 minutes to the main street. The food is good. The host is incredibly helpful (both concerning cabs booking or other availabilities). We are coming back without hesitating when we are coming back to Leh.

10.0Truly amazing Guesthouse! The house and our room were stunningly beautiful; Achan and the rest of the team are very kind and helpful. Food was great too. Would highly recommend it to anyone and I hope we'll be back some day!
